CONGRATULATIONS! Mount Pleasant Center is closed!
Next, the small ICF/MR
established at Caro (10) people! Then we can be done with
this black period in our state's history.
Michigan will then be the
largest state, of 11, with no public institutions and unique
with no ICF/MR.
THANK YOU! Bill Allen, Mike
Head and DCH including yeoman's work by staff. Many deserve
our thank you, including those PIHPs and CMHSPs who lived up
to their responsibility. This includes some who have done so
for a long time and some for whom that is a recent
development. Additional thanks to: Michigan Center for
Positive Living Supports, CLS, CMS of Central Michigan and
especially to our local chapters and our sister advocacy
agencies for their help and support.

Utilization of Mt. Pleasant Center - The Michigan Department

placements, and the long tenure of some individuals. Patrick
Barrie, Deputy Director, Mental Health and Substance Abuse
