We help
Social Security beneficiaries understand and use work
incentives. |

Work
Incentives Planning and Assistance projects are funded by
the Social Security Administration. Purpose: To help
individuals with disabilities who are receiving SSI
(Supplemental Security Income) or SSDI (Social Security
Disability Insurance) to learn about work incentives and
understand what will happen to their Social Security,
Medicaid and Medicare benefits if they return to work. We
will also tell young people who have disabilities and are
leaving school about working and keeping benefits.
WIPA
projects employ Community Work Incentives Coordinators
(CWIC’s) to advise Social Security beneficiaries how to
manage their income and benefits while working.
